At the end of a busy day at work, before a special occasion or simply as a treat to myself, nothing beats a treatment by Laura Jayne James. I’ve used Laura’s services many times with complete satisfaction due to her range of products, skill, flexibility and professionalism. I’m a busy working mum of two, and the convenience of having a salon treatment at home is very useful. Most recently, Laura gave my daughter a make over and nail treatment on her 13th birthday. The make up style was appropriate for her age as well as being a fun and special experience. My mum called in and asked for a treatment. Laura was flexible enough to oblige without my mum having booked beforehand. My personal favourite is the nail treatment. Nothing gives me the same pick me up as having gorgeous nails. And with holidays fast approaching I will making an appointment with Laura for myself, my mum and my daughter. The great thing is, I know we will all be pleased with the results.

As I had never used a service like this before I was unsure what to expect. I contacted Laura by email weeks in advance of my daughters prom and received a reply within hours, we arranged the date and time and kept in contact over the next few weeks with Laura answering any questions I had. On the day itself Laura was punctual and a very pleasant person to have in our home, she chatted to my daughter which made her feel at ease (not easy to do with a 16 year old). The session lasted just over an hour and a half with Laura taking great care in the detail and asking my daughter her opinion at regular intervals. The quality of the service and the end product was was fantastic, I would recommend Laura and use her again if the occasion ever arrises.

Laura did the make up for the models in a photo-shoot for a fundraising calendar in aid of Ty Olsen Hospice that I am organising. She did an wonderful job and all of us looked amazing in the photos. Would definitely recommend her for those special events.
